FAQs

Which credit cards do you accept?

PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards are accepted as well as debit cards which bear the Visa or MasterCard logos. 

Can I cancel my order?     

Yes you can as long as the item(s) has not been shipped. Usually takes 24 hour to process your order.  If the order has already been shipped cancellation will not  be possible. When you received your order call the Customer Service Center for return instructions.                

Can I phone in an order?

Yes. You may be contact us between the hours of 9am-4pm at 630-235-3233.

             

I canceled my order but I have not received a credit yet. How long will it take for the credit to appear on my statement

All requests for credits are processed within 48 hours of receipt.  However, it may take 7-10 business days to receive a credit.  The credit will appear on your next credit card statement or within your next billing cycle.

                         

Can I return an item that is damaged, defective, or I just don't want?

Absolutely. Our easy return policy allows you within 15 days to return the item(s) you purchased.  If the item(s) is damage or defective, we will replace the item(s) plus shipping charges or provide a credit for the full amount including any shipping charges.

If there is an item(s) you are not satisfied with, you must return the merchandise in the original box or package.  All tags should be attached and item(s) must not be worn or washed. We will credit the amount minus shipping charges. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items that are being returned.  Clearance items are non-refundable.

             

What happens if the item I ordered is not available?

If an item is not available at the time of purchase, we will do everything possible to find a comparable item for you.  We will contact you first to confirm you are satisfied with the comparable item prior to shipping.

             

Why was I charged sales tax on my purchase?   

The state of Illinois requires merchants to charge  a 9.75% sales tax.  This tax amount is automatically applied to any items purchased in accordance with the individual state regulation.

                        

How long will it take to receive my order?          

The standard shipping time for orders shipped via UPS ground is 5-10 days. If for any reason the order will take longer to ship, we will notify you by e-mail.

         

 Can I have an order shipped to my P.O. Box?       

No. The vast majority of our merchandise is shipped via USPS.  They require a valid street address in order to ensure proper delivery. If a P.O. Box is used as a shipping address, an error message will appear when submitting the order.  In addition, cannot make deliveries to A.P.O., F.P.O., or foreign addresses.

             

Can I ship my order to a different address?

Yes. When you place your order and proceed to the Check Out screen, remove the check mark from under the billing address and on the left hand side put in the information where you want to ship it. Remember to always use a street address, never a P.O. Box for any shipping address.

              

How are shipping charges calculated?         

Shipping charges vary according to product type and destination. Our products are shipped via USPS.  

             

How can I get on the “Wish List”?

Hey Mom It Fits Wish List is an opportunity to create a list of items that you truly want to purchase at a later date. You can share your list with friends and family for gifts ideas. You must create an account in order to do this.  The advantage of creating an account is to be the first to see the upcoming season's line of clothing and accessories. In  addition, you will receive emails regarding promotions and clearance sale items.
